🌆 This City is So Much Like Rio – I Love It!!! 💛

Our visit was absolutely wonderful — though it’s a shame we only had one week and couldn’t travel further to places like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, or Yosemite National Park. Still, San Francisco itself felt like its own major attraction! 🚗 To Rent or Not to Rent? We did rent a car, but it’s better to plan car rental carefully — especially for trips to farther destinations like Cupertino, San Juan, Sausalito, or Silicon Valley. That said, I highly recommend using public transport within the city. Riding the cable car is such a cool experience 🚠, and the city isn’t overwhelmingly large — though it does have heavy traffic and countless intersections. Be aware: cable car rides can be pricey, and parking is expensive everywhere. 📍 Must-See Attractions Accessible by Public Transport You can easily visit several iconic spots without a car: Alcatraz Island Golden Gate Bridge 🌉 The waterfront and piers Lombard Street – the famous “crookedest street” Even the self-driving cars roaming the streets became an attraction themselves! 🏙️ The Pyramid That Got Away As for the Transamerica Pyramid — I really hope one day the now-closed observation deck reopens. It would offer such an epic view of this Rio-like city by the bay! #SanFranciscoLove #TravelTips #CableCarRides #NoCarNeeded #CityLikeRio
