This High-Scoring Portuguese Offers More Than Just Roast Chicken š·
There arenāt many reviews of this place online, so I decided to check it out myself. ā”ļø Hereās the verdict: Great atmosphere, perfect for friends or company dinners. The main dishes, except for the roast chicken, are quite good, but itās more of a one-time visit (after eating here, I really want to go to Lisbon or Porto for authentic Portuguese cuisine). I recommend making a reservation and not sitting at the bar area; itās a bit too crowded, and thereās not enough space for the food. ā Piri-Piri Chicken - Half Chicken for 14.5 The sauce is a bit heavy, and after charcoal grilling, some parts of the skin are slightly bitter. Maybe itās not to my taste, or Iām more used to sweet and salty flavors. I find Nandoās BBQ sauce more to my liking. ⨠Pork Shoulder for 18 10-day matured pork shoulder, served with a red chili sauce. As far as plated meals go, itās very good. The meat is tender, not too fatty, and without a gamey taste. ⨠Charred Cauliflower š„¦ for 13 I ordered this to get more vegetables, and it turned out to be unexpectedly delicious. It was the MVP of the day! The balance of honey, lemon, and spices is just right, and the coriander sour cream sauce with crushed pistachios provides a great way to cut through the richness.
