This Is Canada's Most Secluded Town, Just an Hour's Drive from Toronto
Ontario’s Elora is one of my absolute favorite small towns in Canada 🇨🇦. Elora isn’t a big town—if you wander around on foot 🚶🏻♂️, you can explore the main street in under two hours. The town is full of colorful houses 🏠, making it a photographer’s dream! 📸 Elora’s architecture carries a strong Scottish vibe, especially with its limestone buildings and charming rural streets. It feels like you’ve been transported to a small village in Scotland 🏴. Located in Ontario, Canada, Elora is known for its picturesque scenery and artistic atmosphere. Its unique charm and peaceful surroundings led Lonely Planet to name it Canada’s “most secluded town.” But it’s not just Lonely Planet—many shows and magazines have recommended Elora too. I came here with high expectations, and Elora did not disappoint. ❤️ 🚘 How to Get There: Drive yourself—it’s about a 1.5-hour drive from Toronto. 🚘 📸 Things to Do: Elora is surrounded by lush forests and winding rivers, making it feel like a fairytale world. After visiting the gorge, you can relax at one of the town’s boutique coffee shops, enjoy authentic coffee and pastries, and soak in the serenity and beauty of Elora. 🤪🤪 #WeekendGetawaysFromToronto #Elora
