This Montreal French Restaurant is an ABSOLUTE MUST-TRY!!
Monarque is hands down my #1 French dining experience in Montreal! π₯ After eating too many "instagrammable but mediocre" meals, this place truly blew me away - no wonder it's ranked #17 on Canada's Top 100 Restaurants! The menu is at the end~ π½οΈ What We Ordered: π§ Bone Marrow Escargot ππππ First bite = mind-blowing! The rich, piping-hot bone marrow mixed with tender snails creates an explosion of flavor. A bit oily, so perfect for sharing. Don't miss dipping the bread in the leftover sauce! π¦ Foie Gras Parfait πππ Silky-smooth foie gras under a delicate jelly layer, spread on toasted bread. So decadent - you'll have extra pΓ’tΓ© for the free bread basket! π₯© Dry-Aged Ribeye πππ We ordered medium-rare but got well-done (still delicious for the price!). Comes with salad or fries - pick the salad since you'll already be carb-loaded from bread! π Duck Confit πππππ Game-changer! Crispy skin, fall-off-the-bone tender meat, zero greasiness. The roasted potatoes on the side are chef's kiss. π Quebec Raspberry Pavlova ππππ Huge portion! Light, crispy meringue topped with tart raspberry compote - the perfect sweet ending (we were stuffed but still finished it all π€£). π° Price & Details: ~$50 per person (we left STUFFED) π 406 Rue Saint-Jacques, MontrΓ©al π MUST RESERVE! Even Friday lunch was packed. Two sections: Brasserie (front): Γ la carte all day (what we tried) Salle Γ Manger (back): Prix-fixe menus (2-course lunch / 4-course dinner) #MontrealEats #FrenchCuisine #FoodieHeaven #MustTry #DuckConfit #Monarque
