This Parisian Museum, Also the Coolest Angle to View the Eiffel Tower

✨While you’re busy capturing the perfect photo op of the Eiffel Tower, you might miss out on a fabulous niche museum in Paris. The “City of Architecture and Heritage” is one of those Parisian gems that gets overshadowed by its name. I only heard about it from Professor Wu’s enthusiastic recommendation a year ago, before leaving Paris, and it left me with something to look forward to on my next visit. Little did I know, my next trip to Paris would come so soon.🏰 ✨This museum brings together the most representative architectural models from all over France and regions related to French architectural culture, offering a one-stop journey through French architectural history. In the ancient section, we trace the historical evolution of religious and secular architecture from the medieval period through the Renaissance to the neoclassical period. Many of these models were completed in the 18th and 19th centuries, preserving the earlier appearance of historical buildings. Though they are reproductions, they record earlier versions of the buildings than what we can see today, holding not only high aesthetic value but also immeasurable significance for the restoration of architectural heritage.💦 ✨The museum is laid out in a dual-linear fashion along the building’s own corridors, with plenty of seating for visitors to rest. It’s one of the least crowded museums in Paris, and yet it’s where I’ve seen the most architecture and art students. In a city as bustling as Paris, it’s a rare opportunity to experience the Parisian elegance of museum-going.👑 ✨The epic of architecture flows through the corridors, with the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower occasionally appearing in the gaps between ancient buildings, creating a timeless dialogue and endless reverie. This clever design also brings the modern part of French architectural history, the Eiffel Tower, into the exhibition hall, making the museum’s theme even more complete.⛪ #ArchitectureArt #MustVisitMuseums #ContemporaryArtAndUrbanPlanning #ArtAndArchitecture #ArchitecturalAesthetics #Paris #CulturalSightsToShare
