This restaurant is right next to my favorite JZ live house!

Ronnie Scott’s has always been my favorite Jazz live house in London. I noticed by chance that there’s a Spanish tapas bar right next to it. OMG!!! From November 11-14, desserts are two for 11 pounds, which is basically 50% off. And the waitress was super nice; in the States, you’d give a 100-dollar tip… We ordered based on Little Red Book’s recommendations, and here’s what we got for the two of us: 🐙 Octopus Leg ✨✨✨✨✨ The tender and juicy octopus legs on a bed of sweet, soft sweet potatoes was a brilliant combination. Topped with a vegetable sauce, it was rich in flavor and worth a try. 🦐 Garlic Shrimp ✨✨✨✨✨ The shrimp was peeled and very tender and delicious. The sea salt was evenly distributed, so every bite had a different sauce, making it quite addictive. 🦑 Squid Ink Corn Rice ✨✨✨✨✨ This was my favorite dish. I felt like I could finish the whole plate by myself; it was really delicious. It came with some Q-bouncy seafood chestnuts, which added to the texture, protein, and carbs. 🥩 Beef Eye Meat ✨✨✨✨ I think next time I could go for the large beef ribs. The sea salt on the steak was a bit much, but the texture was still very good. Then there were the desserts and soft drinks. Since my friend and I don’t drink, we ordered extra desserts. We chose a non-alcoholic soft drink recommended by the waitress; it was delicious and looked great. For desserts, we had cheesecake, chocolate pistachio, and a Catalana, which had the texture of a custard double cream. Having a hearty meal of Spanish food after watching a Jazz live performance was truly wonderful. #TruffleAndBread #SweetFoodMakesHappy #SpanishCuisine #LondonSpanishCuisine #LondonLife #LondonFood #SweetTooth
