This Shanghainese restaurant in New York is just bursting with flavor!

Over the weekend, we visited a super delicious Shanghainese restaurant on the Lower East Side, and it was an absolute hit! We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was more flavorful than the last. ๐Ÿ” We started with the Hua Diao Chickenโ€”the chicken was tender and perfectly marinated in the fragrant Shaoxing wine, giving it a unique, slightly sweet and savory taste. The aroma was incredible, and it paired beautifully with the steamed rice. ๐Ÿ— The Wuxi Spare Ribs were a standout. The ribs were incredibly tender, falling off the bone with just a gentle tug. The glaze was sweet and sticky, with a hint of caramelization that made each bite a pure delight. I couldnโ€™t stop eating and ended up finishing a whole plate of ribs by myself! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅน The Radish and Pork Rib Soup was comforting and hearty. The radish was cooked to perfection, soft and absorbing all the flavors of the broth, while the pork ribs added a rich, meaty depth. It was the perfect dish to warm us up on a chilly day. ๐Ÿฅ„ The Custard Buns were a delightful treat. Soft and fluffy on the inside, with a smooth, creamy custard filling that melted in your mouth. They were the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. ๐Ÿฅฏ The Shanghainese Pork and Vegetable Rice was a hearty and flavorful dish. The rice was cooked with a mix of fresh vegetables and succulent pork, creating a delicious medley of flavors and textures. Every bite was satisfying and full of the authentic Shanghainese taste. ๐Ÿš Finally, the Eggplant was a simple yet flavorful dish. The eggplant was perfectly cooked, soft and tender, with a savory sauce that highlighted its natural sweetness. It was a great addition to our meal. ๐Ÿ† ๐Ÿ“ Su Hang Tipsy Shanghai Address: 104 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10003 This place is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Shanghainese cuisine.
