This steakhouse with a 200-year history

I made an early reservation for this restaurant tonight. With its long history and beautiful setting, and a Google rating of 4.9, my expectations were high. As the sun set, I arrived right on time, and the restaurant was indeed stunning. Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, lives up to its reputation with romantic and vintage decor in its shop windows, stores, and restaurants. Even the birds singing by the roadside seem to be performing opera.💕💕💕 I sat down at 7 p.m. and ordered the signature truffle pasta and the T-bone steak, a must-try in Italy. The steak starts at 1.2 kilograms, and when it was served, I was genuinely intimidated—I didn't manage to finish it. Overall, the steak was indeed crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, very fresh and satisfying. However, my high expectations meant that it felt a bit underwhelming.🥩🥩🥩 The side dishes and wine list were also quite average. The only standout was the restaurant's ambiance. Italian dining, in general, feels more laid-back and casual. It's not bad; it's just a different style. I've been standing politely at the entrance, used to the British way of being seated, but in Italy, it's much more casual. You're just casually invited to sit down, with no particular seat assigned. It left me feeling a bit at a loss.😻😻😻 In summary, this restaurant is a bit overrated. It didn't make me clap in delight. Maybe as a tourist, I didn't choose the right place to eat. If you're looking for a nice atmosphere, a date spot, or a place to take beautiful photos, it's worth a visit. **Restaurant Name:** Ristorante Paoli **Address:** Via dei Tavolini, 12/R, 50122 Firenze FI, Italy **Price:** Average cost per person 100€ #Florence #FlorenceTBoneSteak #FlorenceInstagrammableRestaurant #FlorenceRestaurants #FlorenceTravel
