This Tavern Is Generous—Four Free Drinks Just for Dining!

a.kitchen, a modern American tavern located in the Rittenhouse area, is known for its French-inspired cuisine, open kitchen, and relaxed vibe. The walk-in policy is quite friendly. ✅ Weekend Brunch: Enjoy brunch here and then stroll through the farmer’s market—it’s the ultimate weekend indulgence! ✅ Great Drink Menu: The bartender is incredibly skilled. He poured three samples for me to taste, and I couldn’t resist ordering. When I mentioned I’d come back to try the Austrian national drink, Gemischter Satz, he gifted me another drink on the spot! Shocking but delightful. ❌ Busy During Meal Times: The service can be a bit overwhelmed during peak hours. ❤️ Chickpea Panisse: “Fried tofu” made from chickpeas, served with eggplant puree and vegetables. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a great vegetarian dish! ❤️ Dry Aged Duck Breast: The signature dish lives up to its reputation. The duck meat is perfectly flavored, and the crispy skin is divine. The duck neck stewed in mustard is also excellent. ✅ Rittenhouse Breakfast: A classic continental breakfast, executed with a bit more finesse. No big surprises, but the potatoes are delicious—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The freshly baked biscuits from the kitchen were particularly tempting and didn’t disappoint! ❤️ Recommendation Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 📍 a.kitchen+bar, Philadelphia, PA 💲 Average Cost: $50+ tax and gratuity 🏆 Included in Eater’s Top 38 Must-Try List in Philadelphia #GlobalFoodieContest #AmericasFeast #PhiladelphiaRestaurantReview #Philadelphia #PhiladelphiaLife #PhiladelphiaFood #PhiladelphiaEats #PhiladelphiaTravel #Bistro #Wine
