This Tokyo Skybar Surprised (and Scared) Me So Many Times 🌆🌟

Surprise 1: I walked in without a reservation and was seated by the window! 🎉 🌟 (The bar opens at 17:00, and I arrived around 16:50 with only two other groups ahead of me.) The view was absolutely stunning—I could see both the Tokyo Tower and the Skytree at the same time. 🌆🗼 Surprise 2: 🌟When I ordered, the prices seemed reasonable.And the portion of fries was huge! 🍟 Surprise 3: The weather was perfect for a breathtaking sunset. The blue hour was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. 🌇✨ 🌟 Surprise 4: When the bill came, it was over 10,000 yen!I looked at the bill and was like 🙄🙄🙄 More than half of the total was for things other than the food! 🌟There was no advance notice about the table charge, and they didn't ask where I wanted to sit when I entered (there were plenty of empty seats since I arrived early!). I thought it was okay to spend around 200+ per person for a tower view restaurant, but this really spoiled the experience. Many people say you can spend around 100+ per person and just order a drink, but maybe they didn't have this extra charge before... 🤔 🌟Surprise 5: When I left, I had to walk all the way out from the farthest seat, and I was still amazed by the restaurant's view and Tokyo's night scenery. 🌃 #Tokyo 🌟
