Deeply saddened and disappointed with the rigidity, the lack of sense, and the poor service of this restaurant 👎🏻
The service we experienced definitely didn’t match the level of “table charge” they charged us, which was almost £13 and more expensive than the cup of alcoholic drinks we ordered🤑. Not to mention that they didn’t tell us they would charge us such a charge beforehand. This didn't feel very honest 🤥.
We were seated at a table with a view of the Tokyo Tower cut short. After a few sips of our drinks, we found many empty tables closer to the window with a better view. So, we asked to change to a table closer to the window. However, the staff just rigidly said, “No change.” I asked, “Why not 😂😅? There are many empty tables with no guests.” The responses that I got were still “no change” without proper explanation.
To the restaurant: Your visiting guests are not robots. Your service needs more human touch and flexibility, and you should serve according to the situation. Otherwise, you don’t deserve that table charge which you didn’t tell your guests beforehand. You probably charged us such a sum for the view. However, you gave us a table with a view of the Tower cut short. Maybe we should cut short your table charge as well, for fairness. Just saying 😆😜👎🏻👎🏻
Won’t visit again, and won’t...
Read moreDid the twilight package in February(which is MUST if the view is your number one priority) to the tune of about 150 CAD each. It is a stellar view, but food was bad, included drinks quite limited, and worst of all is the staff are super bitter from constantly telling off the walk in guests for crowding around the windows where those of us who made resos at a huge premium are sitting.
There is a certain kind of tourist who just cannot listen to the rules or doesn’t care because their internet clout is the most important thing in life and it was just nonstop battle between pissed off staff and these rude tourists which kind of soured the mood and made it feel tense in there. Pictured here: this psycho who was literally told SEVEN times over the two hours to sit down and kept getting up and getting in the way. Unreal entitlement. She was even told off in multiple languages and she still didn’t listen. It’s becoming a problem all over Japan.
Overall it’s a foreigner focused experience and you pay tons extra for that. Would not do it again. Ruined primarily by other guests but not good value either way. If you do go - read the rules on the website where it is crystal clear - you have to pay extra for the view seats and if you don’t they will keep telling you...
Read moreThe atmosphere is good, however, the service needs so much improvement as a lounge for a 5 star hotel. 1)The table charge per person is not communicated at all till you check out the bill. 2) we requested a tower view table, they guided us to a non view table to ask us to order first and wait there till there is table. And they don’t know how long it will take. It is better to ask the customers if they are ok with this first instead of taking them to the area directly and telling them they need wait again. Or they can guide the customer till there is tower view table available. 3) when we were moving the table, we accidentally spilled out the drink. The server said no worries she will give me another one. And asked me do I want another one. But never said they will charge me again. The explanation is” it is you spill out the drink but not the server, so you need pay for it”. Then why you don’t tell me first? And this happened during the table move, should customer really be responsible for this? No matter what you would like to charge or how much you charge, please communicate with your customer first, this is our right to know and also, we don’t want to get surprise...
