Though beautiful, the commercialization of Gokyo

✨Spent two nights in Gokyo On the second day, I went to the lake with friends I met along the way 🍀Walked to the end of the lake and returned the same way, where there's a small temple at the end ✨In the afternoon, went to the Gokyo Ri viewpoint to watch the sunset Departed at 13:00, it took two and a half hours to climb to the summit ✨Started descending at 16:30, as I was solo and worried about the danger of descending in the dark, I didn't wait for the sun to set completely ❤️Around 17:00, on the way down, I saw the golden light on the snow-capped mountains! So lucky! ⚠️The descent was quick, and it took about an hour to get back to the accommodation 😐From the mountain, you can see that the entire Gokyo is filled with lodges prepared for tourists, feeling overly commercialized and lacking the local life 😑Also encountered tourists who came by helicopter, took photos, and then flew away... Feels like this kind of mountain climbing has lost its essence...
