Tokyo's Christmas Atmosphere is Off the Charts! 🎄

The Japanese enthusiasm for Christmas makes Tokyo super festive every year! 🎄 Here are a few places I highly recommend: ① Omotesando Every Christmas Eve, the trees along the streets are wrapped in golden little light strings. For Tokyoites, when the lights on both sides of Omotesando come on, it means Christmas and New Year are around the corner. The Hills also features a variety of creative and beautiful Christmas trees in the atrium each year, which are always a sight to behold. The windows of the major brands on both sides of the road are also full of attractions, making it worth a visit even for those who don't love shopping. Hidden in the alleys of Omotesando, there's also a very authentic Nordic shop with a plethora of Christmas items, from bowls and plates to various Christmas decorations, perfect for picking up souvenirs for friends when you're in Japan for Christmas. ② Harajuku LaForet After strolling through Omotesando, the Christmas decorations at Harajuku LaForet are also very dramatic every year. This year, they've created an incredibly cute, glittery pink gingerbread house at the entrance, which I'd say is the best ever. It's super creative and distinctive. If you haven't been to take photos, promise me you'll go! ③ Ebisu Garden Place This place turns into a Christmas square during the holiday season. Every year, there's a huge crystal lighting event. Sitting by the square, listening to Christmas music, sipping a beer, and maybe browsing some books and magazines at the nearby bookstore—life doesn't get more comfortable than this. After we finished watching the lights, we happened to cross the road just in time to see Takahashi Fumiya dressed as Santa Claus shooting a scene, which also filled the atmosphere with Christmas spirit.
