Jojoen Ebisu Garden Place — Restaurant in Tokyo

This restaurant is on the 38th floor of Ebisu Garden Place. I booked a table for 6 o'clock in advance online. When I got there, I found that you can go further up—there are actually two floors, and we were seated on the 39th floor, where we had our meal.

The ingredients were all fresh, and the portions were much larger than I expected. There were two adults and one child in our group, so I ordered three servings of meat and a seafood platter. In the end, we could barely finish it all.

Everything else was good, and the environment was nice too. This restaurant charges a 10% service fee, yet their service didn't feel particularly attentive. Normally, if a restaurant that charges a 10% service fee, they actually help you grill the meat. But here, we had to grill...

Very high quality meat. Great service. This was our first yakiniku meal in Tokyo and we shortlisted Jojoen after a lot of research. We weren’t disappointed. We opted for a meal set. The quality of the meat and cuts was really good. I could have avoided the tongue, but that’s just personal preference. The marination was perfect. My husband and I come here every year. The city view is spectacular as the restaurant oversees the skyline. Last year we went during the day and as some people have mentioned, their lunch set is quite decently priced (not as high quality but still good nonetheless). This time we came at night to experience the night view and ordered a la carte.

We ordered the deluxe sirloin wagyu, ribs and lean sirloin, which were all delicious. It is pricey but the quality is worth it. It is definitely a great experience to try it at least once. Service and atmosphere...
