Tokyo | Senso-ji Temple❗️
Note: These restaurants are popular in Asakusa and Tokyo, offering great value. Many locals dine here, not just tourists. While you can find some snacks in the Senso-ji food street, I recommend exploring nearby streets for more impressive meals. 1️⃣ Himuro Ramen Located about 100 meters from Asakusa View Hotel, this small shop is hard to miss. It rivals Ippudo Ramen. 👉 Recommended: Miso Ramen (classic) + Kimchi Ramen 💰 Cost: ~50 RMB per person 2️⃣ Kagetsudo Inside the Senso-ji market area, this place offers soft, freshly baked bread filled with rich ice cream or whipped cream. It’s a delightful contrast! 👉 Recommended: Matcha flavor 💰 Cost: ~30 RMB per person 3️⃣ Gyukatsu Unfortunately, I couldn't try this popular spot due to long lines. Friends who did reported waiting two to three hours, but said it was worth it! 💰 Cost: ~150-200 RMB per person 4️⃣ Ikinari Steak About 100 meters from Gyukatsu, I stumbled upon this gem. It's surprisingly good! 👉 Recommended: Premium Steak 200g, Chicken Cutlet 400g (lunch set with unlimited rice, salad, and soup) 💰 Cost: ~80-100 RMB per person 5️⃣ Additional Recommendations: I noticed three more places with long queues but didn’t have time to try them. They seemed promising based on my foodie instincts! If you've been, share photos! You can enjoy a fulfilling day in Asakusa, with these suggestions covering meals and snacks. Go enjoy! #AsakusaFood #TokyoFood #SensojiTemple #FoodDiary #JapanTravel #SpringTravel
