Turning into a small alley, I found a shop called "Hatoya Asakusa." The storefront is not large, but it has a sense of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle. I ordered their "base" - freshly - ground matcha latte. The foam made with a bamboo whisk is very fine, floating on the rim of the bowl, in the color of spring mountain mist. 🎢🍃 Take a sip, and the tea fragrance slides down the throat. First is the fresh herbal scent, and then a very restrained bitterness appears at the end, which is the backbone of high - quality matcha.
