Tokyo Cherry Blossom Spots ๐ธ
Shibuya Sakura Hill: This is a famous slope in front of the entrance of Japan University of Economics. ๐๐ข The road is lined with cherry blossom trees on both sides. When the flowers bloom, the intertwining branches above create a romantic cherry blossom tunnel, just like the Sakura-zaka in Roppongi, filled with a dreamy atmosphere. ๐ Meguro River: The Meguro River is incredibly famousโone of the few cherry blossom spots that require traffic police to maintain order. ๐๐ข Before the pandemic, I visited for the night cherry blossoms, and it was packed to the brim. I thought it might be less crowded on a weekday after the pandemic, but it was still bustling with people. The Meguro River is stunning both during the day and at night. ๐๐ธ However, for a better experience, either go early in the morning or choose a less crowded spot. ๐ ๐ธ Cherry Blossom Route: Start from Omatsubashi, take the Tozai Line from Waseda Station. In just 9 minutes and for 170 yen, you'll arrive in Nakano; then transfer to the JR Chuo Line and spend another 10 minutes (170 yen) to get to Kichijoji; ๐๐ธ from there, take the IN Keio-Inokashira Line for 17 minutes (200 yen) to Shibuya; finally, hop on the TY Tokyu Toyoko Line from Shibuya, and in just 3 minutes (130 yen), you'll reach Nakameguro. ๐ #SakuraViewing #CherryBlossomRain #CherryBlossomSpots #JapaneseSakura ๐ธ
