Tokyo Day 4: Teamlab / Tokyo Tower / Shibuya (3)π
Shibuya LOFT ποΈ It's way more comfortable to shop here than at the Shinjuku branch or the Harajuku @cosme. The whole building has 7 floors, selling stationery, home goods, and cosmetics. The brands are pretty comprehensive. Negishi Beef Tongue Shibuya Store π πΏπ The quality at chain stores should generally be decent. The thinly sliced beef tongue is very elastic, while the thick slices are a bit too tough. I recommend the thin slices. Shibuya BIC camera πΈ πΏπIt looks like a whole building, but the drug and cosmetic section is super small π Is it even 10 tsubo (about 330 sq ft)? I'm not sure. The branch in front of Fukuoka's Hakozaki Shrine was huge, and I felt very satisfied with my purchases there. This one is just... But at least the hair dye my family wanted was the same price as before. Compared to other stores, there's a price difference of over 200 yen per box. π Other Notesπ πΏπIs it inflation? This time in Tokyo, I visited several drugstores, and DHC products and lens cleaning tissues were quite expensive. I haven't been able to restock them yet. Going to Teamlab in the morning was really refreshing. I've never seen an immersive projection exhibition like this before. But why were 95% of the people there Westerners? It was such a unique demographic mix. πΏπ The department stores in Mabudai are truly modern, with contemporary decor and spacious layouts. #Tokyo πΏπ
