Tokyo Day Trip: Gotokuji, Shimokitazawa, and Kichijoji (Part 2) 🐱✨

Final Stop: Kichijoji 🎨✨ The last stop of the day was Kichijoji. I had high hopes for Billboard, but it was closed despite Google Maps saying otherwise. However, I stumbled upon Paper Message, a delightful stationery shop where I picked up some unique products. 🌊🎢 Perhaps my expectations for Kichijoji were too high, or maybe I didn’t spend enough time there, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression on me. 🎶 Shibuya Detour: On the way back to the hotel, I stopped by Tower Records Shibuya in Shibuya. 🌿🌇 As a music lover, this place was heaven—I didn’t have enough time to explore fully, so I’ll definitely return on my next Tokyo trip. 🚃 Odakyu Line Connections: Throughout the day, I rode the Odakyu Line multiple times. It felt surreal knowing that: Gotokuji Station is where Takaki set off to meet Akari in 5 Centimeters Per Second. 🌊🎢Setagaya-Daita Station is where Tsugumi and Sou reunited years later in Silent Snow. The line also features prominently in The Beginning of the Sea. 🌿🌇 Riding the Odakyu Line made me feel like I was stepping into the lives of these characters. #Japan #Tokyo #Travel #Gotokuji 🌸
