Tokyo Exhibition | Koji Namikawa "Sentient" (3)🎨

Mr. Namikawa's Studio: A Collage of Lost Objects 🌿 Mr. Namikawa's studio is like what Walter Benjamin called a "scattered allegorical collage," constantly drifting in objects that have lost their purpose. 🎨 It rejects linear narratives and classifications, proliferating in a deliberate state of disorder. 🌟 Through Mr. Namikawa's practice, the readability of objects as symbols is deconstructed. 🎨By adding different materials and techniques, their forms are also transformed. In this reconfigurable installation art, objects hover between their materiality and encoded meanings. 🎨 🎨 This exhibition aims to alienate the existing value system by arranging these individual sculptures in space and to open up a relational field leading to unexpected perspectives. πŸŒ‡ Exhibition Period: Tuesday, April 22, 2025 – Saturday, July 12, 2025 Hours: 🎨 12:00 – 18:00 Closed: Mondays, Sundays, and holidays Free Admission 🎨 Venue:SCAI THE BATHHOUSE 6-1-23, Yanaka, Taito-ku, Tokyo 110-0001 #JapaneseLife #Tokyo #ArtExhibition 🌟
