π’ Ginza / Skytree / Asakusa Temple / Sanrio / Akihabara / Tokyo Station Ichiban Street π Day 1οΈβ£ Narita Airport - Skytree I booked my accommodation near Asakusa, and from Narita Airport, I took the Skyaccess Limited Express shown in Figure 2, which is orange and super fast and convenient. Just follow the orange signs; it's easy to find. You can use your Suica card directly. For detailed travel guides, search for keywords on social media platforms like π ! π Ginza After checking in at the hotel, I went to Kinko Spectacles in Ginza to get glasses for my family. There are Chinese-speaking staff, so communication is no problem. Some people said the vision test there wasn't very accurate, so I got my eyes tested domestically and went there to get the glasses directly! After getting the glasses, I wanted to go to Kyushu Ramen next door, but there was such a long queue that I didn't go. π Skytree Skytree closes late (around 22:00, I think?), so no need to rush! The lower floors are shopping centers, and I personally found them quite enjoyable to browse! There's a Chiikawa store!! Then I bought a ticket to go up to 345m. Personally, I felt it was just okay, just a high vantage point to overlook the night view. We didn't go to the top; I guess the view would be similar if we did! But Skytree is said to be the tallest in Asia, right? It's still worth a visit! π Day 2οΈβ£ Asakusa Temple - Sanrio Store - Akihabara - Tokyo Station Ichiban Street π Asakusa Temple I went to Asakusa Temple in the morning. The temple has no specific opening hours; you can go straight and draw a fortune (prepare a 100-yen coin). The surrounding shops usually open close to ten, so you can visit the temple first and then stroll around. However, there were so many people, and the weather was hot, so I didn't go to any of the popular snack shops. π Sanrio Store (opens at 11 AM) After strolling through the shopping street, you can navigate to this store; it's quite close. The exterior of the store is very photogenic! The inside is also very nice and atmospheric! But I felt there wasn't much to buy; many of the charms seemed to be sold everywhere, not necessarily here (just my personal opinion). And many people line up in advance!! The popular items are basically sold out. For lunch, I had Ichiran Ramen, which I thought was just okay, just ordinary good, but after trying many other ramen places, I felt that Ichiran was quite tasty. Figure 9, this π©-shaped building is really funny, haha. π Akihabara In the afternoon, I went to Akihabara. Exit from the first exit of [I can't type that character] Station and follow the main road; there are so many figures, games, ands, but the stores are quite small and cramped. Keep following the road until you get to Akihabara Station, and you'll have seen most of it! π Tokyo Station Ichiban Street You can take the train directly from Akihabara Station to Tokyo Station and navigate to Tokyo Station Ichiban Street within the station. There are also popular IPs, Chiikawa has a long queue, and it's impossible to get in. There's also Rilakkuma, Miffy, and that very popular penguin, all sorts of things like that. They're quite cute, and if you're interested, you can come and take a look! On the third day, I went to Kamakura, but due to space limitations, I'll write a separate post about it! #JapanTravel #JapanTravelGuide #TokyoFreeTravel #TokyoTravel #Travel
