Rene Lalique (1860-1945) 🌟 🌇✨ The glass door at the main entrance was specially designed by Lalique for the Chōshōku Palace. It's said that the original design featured a nude figure, which was later changed to a clothed version at the request of the Japanese side. 🌇✨ In other rooms of the palace, you can see more of Lalique's works: the 'Bucharest' chandelier in the main living room and the 'Pineapple and Pomegranate' chandelier in the main dining room. The transparency of the glass and the beauty of the shapes are truly captivating. Remember to look up often during your visit! 🌟 Raymond Subes (1891-1970) 🌇✨ Subes is known for his delicate curves and geometric patterns. He designed the semicircular lintel above the main living room's glass door in the Chōshōku Palace. The stair railings and metalwork on the windows might also be his creations. 🌿 🌳 The garden still retains the atmosphere of the palace era: Lush green lawns, Japanese-style garden landscapes with artificial hills and ponds, and seasonal scenery such as cherry blossoms and autumn leaves. 🌇✨ The museum has a specially made garden plant map, making it feel like a perfect place to visit in spring! 🌸 🍵 Tea Room "Kōka" requires a reservation to enter. ☕️ CAFE TEIEN: Walk-ins are welcome, but you might need to wait in line during peak hours because there are very few staff members! 🚶‍♂️ 🎁 Museum Shop: The products are very diverse, located right next to the café. It's a great place to pick up some artistically inspired souvenirs! 🎁 #Tokyo #TokyoMetropolitanTeienArtMuseum 🌇✨
