🍣 Tomo|A Cozy Japanese Gem by the Delaware River in Philly
A small, intimate spot called Tomo Sushi & Ramen BYOB right by the Delaware River. Not widely shared on social media, but it’s rare in Philly to find a place that does both sushi and ramen well — with a variety of fresh sashimi and non-pre-made broth. 💛 Recommendations: 🍣 Salmon Don – Highly recommended! Salmon prepared in multiple ways: raw, half-cooked, torched, and salmon roses. The vinegared rice is perfectly balanced — not too sour, not too sweet, never gets heavy. 🥒 Naruto Sashimi – Ordered it because the name was fun 😄. Cucumber wraps instead of rice — super refreshing, perfect for summer. 🍜 Ramen – Forgot which one we got, but the broth was light yet flavorful, not the heavy pre-made kind. Noodles were smooth and satisfying. 🐟 Sashimi & Nigiri – The menu has so many types of fish — all very fresh. If you love sashimi, order freely — hard to go wrong. We sat outside that day — nearby Cuor di Caffè serves an amazing affogato ☕🍦. 🌉 Tip: After your meal, take a stroll along the river to see the NJ skyline at night, then cross to the NJ side for a beautiful view of Philly. #PhillyEats #JapaneseFood #SushiSpot #RamenLover #DelawareRiver #CozyVibes #TomoPhilly
