Toronto: The 10 Places I’m Most Afraid Will Close (Part 2) 😱🍴

1️⃣ Mother A legendary night out. Fell under the spell of Toronto’s most handsome Korean-Canadian bartender and the Italian owner’s god-tier humor. Stayed for 5 hours, drank 6 beautiful cocktails, spent $100+ per person… and I’d still say it was worth it. Toronto cannot lose this place. ❤️🍸 2️⃣ PICCOLO PIANO PIZZERIA An Italian pizzeria tucked inside a gorgeous flower-covered house. $49 for three incredible courses? In this economy?! This place must not close. 🍕💐 3️⃣ Amano Trattoria A hugely delicious Italian restaurant that’s weirdly underrated. Seafood, meat, pizza, pasta, desserts… everything is generous and ridiculously good (I’m out of words). 🍝🔥 4️⃣ Lao Tang Jia A low-key Shaanxi noodle shop that’s been open for over a decade—so humble the sign’s fading. Biangbiang noodles, lamb skewers, lamb soup… absolutely slaps. If it ever closes, where will the kids go for real Shaanxi noodles? 🥹🍜 5️⃣ Bar Piquette A French cocktail bar with peak vibes. Their bar snacks are incredible—their Mortadella Sandwich might be the best in Toronto. 🥪✨ 6️⃣ Côte de Bœuf A wildly popular steakhouse. Sometimes I think if it ever closes, people might literally protest. 🥩🔴 7️⃣ Los Gyros Come for the grilled beef intestine tacos!! And definitely dine in. (Trust me—I’ve eaten over 30 tacos in Mexico City.) 🌮🇲🇽 8️⃣ Gui Gui The only Korean rotating skewer spot in the city. Every skewer slaps—plus all the drinking snacks are huge and cheap. Grilled intestines under $20? Yes. 🍢🔥 9️⃣ Ramen Buta-Nibo Even if you end up with garlic breath, nothing should stop you from trying a bowl of Jiro Ramen. 🍜🧄 🔟 Maha’s An Egyptian brunch spot making miracles on a quiet street. Years ago, I waited 2 hours under the blazing sun to eat here. Everything inside is art—you’ll know when you go. Now it’s Michelin-recognized. 🍳🌾 (I’ve reviewed all these places before—go dig through my feed! 🌝) #TorontoFood #FoodieDiaries
