Toronto’s French Restaurant Dreyfus
Where the Menu Changes Almost Daily Like a Surprise Box This French restaurant in Toronto is famous for its variety, with the menu changing almost every day. It’s like opening a surprise box – you never know what you’re going to get until you arrive. As soon as you’re seated, the server will introduce the menu to you from start to finish. The menu options are limited, but they’re almost all winners. Our appetizers were crab with carrot and a jelly egg beef toast. This jelly egg was really interesting – definitely something I’ve never eaten before. 😮 For the main course, we had a fish with beurre blanc sauce that was so good, I literally scraped up every bit of the sauce. 🤤 The second main was their handmade pappardelle with lamb ragu. This pasta was exceptionally thin, and the cook was perfectly done, with a great texture and a flavorful lamb sauce. 😋 For dessert, we had an apple tart and crêpes. The apple tart wasn’t overly sweet; it had the natural fragrance of apples, which was delicious! 🍏 The crêpes, however, were a bit too sweet. 🥞 This time, we avoided any duds and successfully opened our surprise box! 🎉 Average cost: $80-100💰 #TorontoLife #FrenchCuisine #TorontoRestaurantHunting #RestaurantRecommendations #TorontoFood #TreasureRestaurantShare #AtmosphericRestaurant
