Toronto’s Old Money Style Library Bar

At the Fairmont Royal York, the bar on the left-hand side of the first floor, as well as the Clockwork Champagne & Cocktails in the lobby, are quite famous. However, I prefer the Library for its quieter ambiance. 🍹Cocktail The “Twist of Life” is garnished with lavender flowers, has a gin base, and is infused with a hint of raspberry. It’s a bit too strong in alcohol taste for my liking. “Route 66” is a very traditional cocktail with a cinnamon flavor that I personally am not too fond of. 🍰Dessert “Close but not Cigar” is a bitter chocolate dessert, not sweet at all. The ash is made of oat powder, and it’s delicious. Overall, their selection is very traditional and classic. It seems suitable for business people to have a drink after a meeting. It might not be the best fit for those who prefer sweet drinks, but the environment is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the prices are moderate. Most cocktails are around $20 a glass, with some options around$80. #Toronto #WeekendDestinations
