Toronto’s Pingle’s Farm Pumpkin Patch 🎃
Less than an hour’s drive from downtown Toronto, their market and the stand selling coffee and donuts are accessible without a ticket. The $12 pumpkin spice latte tastes pretty average but is great for photos. Their apple cider, however, is genuinely delicious, and sipping a hot drink on a chilly autumn day is simply amazing. The donuts and popcorn 🍿 are also worth a try. 🎫 I recommend buying your tickets online; they’re cheaper by $5 compared to buying on-site. Once inside, there are so many activities that it’s no wonder kids love it; even this big kid went crazy for it. There’s live music, a petting zoo - I saw a duck with a cool hairstyle, and further in, there are all sorts of play areas for kids. We played basketball and mini putt, and took photos on a huge pile of hay. After the kids’ area, it’s the usual farm fun - we walked through the corn maze, admired the sunflowers, took photos in the pumpkin patch, and sneakily picked a strawberry, and rode the train wagon. Their apple orchard has many different types of apples, and there’s an option to pick your own bouquet (for an additional fee). We spent three hours in the park and still didn’t feel like we had enough. My friend said as we were leaving that they now understand why farms offer season passes; Canada’s agritainment has truly won our hearts 😂. I highly recommend that all you big kids who haven’t lost your sense of wonder to seize the spooky month of November and have some fun!
