Discovered a charming bistro in Toronto's historic Distillery District. The place offers a variety of small bites, perfect for pairing with drinks. The prices are reasonable, and the flavors are delightful, making it an ideal spot for a casual drink with friends. Shrimp Croquetas 🍤: Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these fried shrimp balls are served with a complementary sauce that adds a rich texture. A great appetizer! 🍤🍴 Mushroom & Truffle 🍄🟫: A must-order for mushroom lovers! The rich aroma of truffle, the savory taste of mushrooms, and the crispy bread make this dish a winner. So good, I ordered two servings! 🍄👏 Steak Tartare with Foie Gras: On a mission to try all the Beef Tartare in Toronto! Their version with foie gras is exceptional. I'm not usually a fan of foie gras, but the flavor of this dish is very palatable. A big thumbs up! 🥩❤️ Oxtail Buns: Slow-cooked oxtail in a bun, with a flaky crust and a tender, juicy filling. The oxtail is so tender and flavorful, it's like an upgraded version of a beef pancake. 🍖🥐 Pulpo Con Papas Alinas: Smoked octopus served with a slightly spicy and tangy mojo rojo sauce, over a bed of smooth, creamy mashed potatoes. At first, the sauce was an acquired taste, but after a few bites, it grew on me and became quite appetizing. 🐙🌶️ Paella of Shrimp and Clams: Their seafood paella is also a signature dish, recommended by many. The portion is modest, but the taste is quite satisfactory. 🦐🐚🍚 The average cost per person is around 100, and we ordered these dishes plus two beers 🍻.
