Toronto's Super Comfortable Leshan Cuisine | Yang San Niang's Qiaojiao Beef

Last weekend, I finally got to try the much-hyped Yang San Niang's, which is really πŸ”₯. I got a number at 7:30 PM and didn't get to eat until after 9 PM. The portion sizes are not huge, but the prices are reasonable, so you can order a few dishes at once to try. I think this is quite good because usually, when two people go out to eat, ordering three dishes is not satisfying, but four is too much. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite small, and the tables are very close together. Leshan Qiaojiao Beef You definitely have to try their signature Qiaojiao Beef when you come for the first time. It's no wonder it's called Qiaojiao Beef; it's so delicious you'll want to dance with joy πŸ˜„. The beef is incredibly tender, and the broth is super fresh. It's perfect for soaking in rice. A small portion of beef is more than enough for two people, and the soup can be refilled as much as you want. Steamed Spare Ribs with Rice Flour This dish is my absolute favorite, okay?! The steamed spare ribs are fragrant and sticky, almost falling off the bone in a second. Each bite is full of the tender and juicy pork, and the pumpkin underneath is also soft and flavorful! Spicy Yellow Throat with Sauce The spicy sauce pairs perfectly with the crispy yellow throat and celery, making it very appetizing. Braised Tofu with Tendon and Beef I asked the staff and found out that the "tendon and beef" in the dish is a combination of beef tendon and beef. The tendon is quite elastic, and the dish tastes a bit like Mapo Tofu. It's a bit spicy for my taste. Handmade Taro Crisps I highly recommend their taro crisps. The thin crispy skin is wrapped around delicate taro paste, which is not greasy at all. The sweetness is just right, and you can feel the natural sweetness of the taro in every bite, without any grainy texture. It's really super πŸ’–. This is a place I would definitely come back to. There are hardly any dishes that disappoint, and the average cost per person is around 40. If only the line could be shorter next time 😭. I'm planning to try going on a weekday next. #TorontoFood #TorontoLife #TorontoExplore #TorontoFun #FoodRecommendation #YangSanNiangQiaojiaoBeef #LivingInToronto
