Toronto | As expected from the ๐ Michelin-recommended brunch
Make sure to book in advance, folks! Otherwise, you might end up like us, waiting in line for an hour to eat! But the moment you take that first bite, you know the wait was worth it ๐ซฐ๐ป ๐๐ป DUCK CONFIT & KING OYSTER MUSHROOM TOAST Delicious ๐ Itโs divine! Iโm not usually a fan of duck, but this was so aromatic, you couldnโt taste the duck at all. The seafood mushrooms were very fresh and enhanced the flavor. It was a feast for the senses. I could go for another bite just thinking about itโฆ The ๐ฅ on top was perfection โ just a gentle poke and it was heaven. You can ask for half potatoes ๐ฅ + half salad ๐ฅ. The little potatoes were especially good, soft and glutinous, oily but not greasy. ๐๐ป FRENCH TOAST Iโve never had such soft and chewy French toast ๐. Made with brioche bread, it was so fluffy. The toast was soaked in ricotta cheese, creamy and delicious. Paired with a slightly sweet caramelized pear ๐ and crushed pistachios, it was pure bliss. We all said it was a bit sweet, but we couldnโt resist another bite โ straight to empty plate action. ๐๐ป HUEVOS RANCHEROS A creative brunch dish with a Mexican twist. It was my first time having Mexican-style brunch. The crispy corn tortilla ๐ฎ with avocado sauce, black beans, and sour cream was like a multi-layered taco. I probably wonโt order this again next time, though. ๐๐ป THE ACE BENNY You can choose ๐ฅ/๐ฃ/๐ฅ. We went with avocado, and I couldnโt believe they put a whole avocado and guacamole on topโฆ Avocado lovers will definitely fall in love. Personally, I think this place serves the best brunch Iโve had in Toronto so farโฆ Straight to empty plate action. Not only is the food delicious, but the service attitude is top-notch. The staff were very patient and even treated us to a free French toast. #brunch #Toronto #restaurantrecommendation #Torontofood
