Toronto | Christmas Market at the Distillery Photo Ops🎄

Every year, Toronto’s Christmas market is more or less the same, and this year is no exception with a massive Christmas tree sponsored by Dior🎄. đŸ…żïž 370 Cherry St (it’s an underground parking lot, $5đŸ”Ș per hour) Before December 12th, it’s free entry on Mondays to Wednesdays; Thursdays to Sundays are free before 4 PM. From December 12th to 31st, it’s free before 4 PMđŸŽ«. A new must-check-out spot this year is the newspaper stand📰 where you can take photos of yourself and friends to be printed on a retro-style newspaper for keepsakes. But be warned, it’s super crowded. We managed to get a photo taken quickly during the day, but the line is super long at night
You might want to come around 3 PM to check it out, and it’s free! Of course, the results are a bit of a mixed bag, but it’s all about the memories. You might want to bring some cash; although the photo op is free, it’s nice to give a little tip. Taking photos during the day and at night is a completely different experience. Since we came at night last year, we wanted to take some daytime photos this year, and it’s definitely less crowded in the afternoon. No worries about the crowds or lines. But when the Christmas tree lights up at night, using your phone’s flash📾 creates a whole different vibe! Which one you prefer is totally up to you. The variety of food inside the market isn’t that extensive, and the prices are generally a bit steep. A friend bought a very special hot chocolate called S’mores Hot Chocolate. The cup was lined with toasted marshmallows and topped with cream, which looked amazing, but it was incredibly sweet
might need an insulin shot after that 😂 For dinner, we grabbed a bite at a Japanese restaurant inside the market. It’s a regular restaurant, which was a relief because eating outside was super cold
Finding an indoor spot and having a bowl of hot noodles instantly chased away the chillđŸ„¶. I forgot the name of the place
but the taste was pretty average. If you’re not super hungry, just grab a drink and some snacks to enjoy the atmosphere. #ChristmasMarketFun #TorontoChristmasMarket #CitywalkToronto #TorontoPhotoSpots #TorontoDistilleryDistrict #TorontoChristmas #TorontoWeekendOutings #TorontoWinterActivities #wintervillage #TorontoDistillery
