Toronto | Eating pretty food with someone you like

Came with my sis to eat at Grey Gardens, and I really love the vibe here. The bar is decorated with flowers and wine bottles, so beautiful. The open kitchen design also makes the dining experience more enjoyable. ๐Ÿ’ Snapper Crudo The special snapper of the day, served with zucchini and a hint of chili sauce, drizzled with chili oil. The slight spiciness enhances the freshness of the fish - quite nice. The color coordination of the plating is also very appealing. ๐Ÿ’ Swordfish Carpaccio First time trying raw swordfish, and this dish has a bit of a Chinese cuisine feel to it. It comes with fried eggplant and sesame, drizzled with sesame oil. Itโ€™s a bit oilier than the other, but itโ€™s so aromatic and delicious! The texture of the swordfish is also pleasant. ๐Ÿ’ Smoked Leeks The leeks have a slight smoky flavor, and they taste quite sweet with the salad dressing. The classic combination of arugula and cheese shavings is very refreshing! Itโ€™s the perfect appetizer for the upcoming pasta dish. ๐Ÿ˜„ ๐Ÿ’ Crown This pasta dish could be considered the best of the night. Shaped like a crown and topped with pork floss, itโ€™s magical once cut open. The pasta is filled with cheese and a bit of minced meat, paired with a savory sauce and delicious seafood mushrooms. One bite and itโ€™s just too good!! The creamy cheese and meat flavors blend perfectly! ๐Ÿ’ Panna Cotta - blueberry, toffee, lime A classic dessert - panna cotta with blueberries and toffee. The toffee is crispy and smells so good, but overall itโ€™s a bit sweet and could be cloying if you eat too much. ๐Ÿฅ‚ Garden Mocktail & Loic Mahen Chenien Blanc The overall experience was quite pleasant, and the flavors were good. The price is around eighty per person, which is pretty good value. The menu here changes quite frequently, and itโ€™s a place Iโ€™d like to come back to try new dishes. #TorontoCuisine #TorontoRealEstate #FoodDiary #FoodExploration #FoodieLife #DateNightRestaurant #VibeyRestaurant #HiddenGemRestaurant #100RestaurantsChallenge
