🕑 Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM; 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM 🅿 Parking: Free 🆓, and entry is free too! About the Temple The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is a magnificent white marble temple where every pillar and wall is exquisitely crafted. This grand temple is built entirely without any steel framework or nails, made solely of marble and limestone. All the intricately hand-carved marble was crafted in India and then shipped to Toronto, where it was assembled into this stunning temple. The architecture follows the Vedic tradition, with two main parts: Mandir and Haveli, connected by two indoor corridors. The Haveli section, adorned with intricate teak wood carvings showcasing traditional Indian craftsmanship, is the primary venue for various events and ceremonies. Visitors are required to remove their shoes before entering, and no photos 📸 are allowed inside. The Mandir, the main white structure, is the sacred space where religious activities take place. The first floor houses the Heritage Museum, and the second floor is the main hall where deities are worshiped. #TorontoPhotography #TorontoLife #TorontoWeekendPhotoSpots #TorontoFamilyOutings #TorontoIndianTemple #TorontoWeekendGetaways #UniversityOfToronto #TemplePhotography #TorontoPhotoOps #UofT #BAPSShriSwaminarayanMandir 📍 Address: 61 Claireville Dr, Etobicoke, ON
