🐯 Toronto 1-Hour Drive | A Super Healing Farm-Style Wildlife Park 🦁
Last weekend, my family and I took a 🚗 day trip to Jungle Cat World Wildlife Park, located just 1 hour from Toronto near Oshawa 🦁✨ In a nutshell: The park isn’t huge, but it’s packed with amazing experiences! 👍🏻 A light 🌧️ drizzle had just passed, leaving the air fresh with the scent of wet earth 🌱. The crowd was small, and from the parking lot, we could already spot energetic kangaroos 🦘 and a majestic lion 🦁 strolling around. Honestly, if you just wanted a quick visit, you could finish in 30 minutes—but we ended up staying 4.5 hours because the kids absolutely refused to leave! 😂 It was just too much fun! 🐒 Right after entering, we saw three free-roaming alpacas 🦙, an adorable mini donkey 🫏 guarding them, and a bunny barn 🐰 where kids could pet the soft, fluffy rabbits up close! Plus, peacocks 🦚 strutting around, randomly showing off their feathers, and a natural playground 🛝 perfect for kids under 5! The park isn’t just about farm animals—it’s also home to rare and exotic wildlife like red foxes 🦊, spider monkeys 🐒, gray wolves 🐺, Siberian tigers 🐅, ring-tailed lemurs 🐵, cougars 🦁, snow leopards 🐆, Moluccan cockatoos 🦜, Transvaal lions, dingoes 🐶, lynxes, and Amur leopards 🐆! (Stay tuned for the next episode of our zoo adventure! 📹😘) ⚠️ Important Notes: ▫️ The park has rocky paths 🪨, which get muddy after rain—watch out for animal droppings! Strollers are allowed but tricky. ▫️ ❌ No pets allowed. ❌ Don’t feed the animals with outside food. ▫️ You can pet bunnies 🐰, goats 🐏, and alpacas 🦙, but don’t disturb the others! ▫️ There’s an on-site café, or you can bring your own food for a picnic 🍔. ▫️ Last entry at 4 PM. 🎟️ Ticket Prices: ▫️ Adults: 💰$20 ▫️ Teens (13-17): 💰$15 ▫️ Kids (3-12): 💰$10 ▫️ Under 3: 🆓 FREE ▫️ Parking: 🆓 FREE 🌿 The zoo isn’t just open for regular visits—they also offer animal encounters, birthday adventures, and overnight camping!
