Toronto | Awesome Little Tavern

I've been to this cozy tavern a good 5, 6, 7, or 8 times, and I have to say, the vibe is always on point! 🎉 🐮 Raw Beef: An absolute must-order every single time! The beef has no gaminess, with a hint of sesame oil fragrance. Mix it with the raw egg for an even smoother texture. The beef itself has a bit of crunch to it, and the sweet pear slices add another layer of texture. So delicious, I can’t get enough 😋. 🍜 Soy Milk Cold Noodles: This one seems seasonal—only available in summer. The broth has a strong, rich soybean flavor and is super light and refreshing. If you’ve never tried it, give it a go! I like my food a bit bolder, so I paired it with some side dishes, and it actually worked surprisingly well. 🐷 Korean Braised Pork Trotters: When this dish arrived, everyone at the table was shocked by the sheer size of it! The pork trotters are incredibly tender and flavorful, though the accompanying sauce is a bit salty. 🌶️ Spicy Chicken Feet: The chicken feet were so tender they practically fell off the bone! They arrived sizzling hot and steaming, and the sauce is perfect with rice 🍚. It’s spicy, but so addictive that you just can’t stop eating 💥. From the menu, it seems like they’ve introduced quite a few new dishes this season, but sadly, we couldn’t try more because we were too full! 😭 The portions here are generous, and with four people, the four dishes we ordered were just the right amount. #FoodDiary #RestaurantReview #FoodAdventures #TorontoLife #TorontoDining #TorontoEats #TorontoFoodie #MustTryList
