Toronto DT’s delicious pretty meal!

As everyone knows, pretty meals usually win with their “prettiness” rather than the taste, but this is one of the best pretty meals I’ve had in Toronto in years! (Personal preference, no arguments please) Let’s talk about the dishes first – each one was a hit 🌟 Spanish Seafood Paella 🥘 The rice was flavorful and had a full texture, each grain coated in sauce. It’s a must to eat it hot – it’s so fragrant and captivating. The big shrimp 🦐 was very bouncy and well-cooked. This portion is perfect for two people to share. Foie gras was added last, but it surprised me the most. I’m not usually a fan of foie gras as I find it too rich, but this foie gras had a very smooth and silky texture! Not heavy at all. When eaten with the bread beneath it, the flavor combination gives a dessert-like illusion. I have a sweet tooth, and I found it very delicious! Wagyu tartar is a classic – no need to say more. Tuna as a starter was refreshing and appetizing. I was really sorry I didn’t get to try the lamb chops! The environment is top-notch, located in the lobby of the Sutton Hotel. The two dining areas have different styles, but it was very quiet with few people on the day we went. The hotel entrance is very photogenic and is located on King Street, which is one of the three streets famous for pretty meals. Just snap away, and it’s beautiful! Service deserves a special mention! I had booked for a birthday, and as soon as I walked in with a cake, I was clearly informed of the cake-cutting service fee! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been charged a mysterious cake-cutting fee without being informed in advance! The front desk said that just helping to store the cake and taking it out for a photo after the meal is free – only serving it will incur a charge. Also, on your birthday, they give you wine! I thought it would only be for the birthday person, but to my surprise, my friends got some too! And when they heard that one of my friends was allergic to alcohol, they immediately made another drink! So, I got three drinks that day ❤️ The service attitude was impeccable! Finally, let’s talk about the 💰 I think it’s more friendly than many pretty meals. For two people, including tip, it was less than 150, which is a pretty good value choice! #PrettyMealsEnjoyed #TreasureRestaurantShare #AtmosphericRestaurant #FoodExploration #TorontoLife
