Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

Toronto DT | A Bounty of Delicious Cuisine 🍽️

I've recommended this restaurant's curry before, and this time I'm back to try their other signature dishes! It's extremely popular, so make sure to book in advance. We got seated at the bar this time, and there were hooks πŸͺ on the wall to hang things. Tapioca Dumplings 🌟🌟🌟🌟: The exterior is made of tapioca, and the inside is filled with sweet beans. Served with lettuce, peanuts, Thai basil, and a sprig of cilantro. It's a favorite for those who love sweet flavors! I found the taste quite magical, with the tapioca having a nice chewiness. Taro Rolls 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟: I was amazed by these last time, and I ordered them again! The exterior is a crispy fried bean skin, and the inside is a soft and glutinous taro paste, paired with sweet chili sauce, it's really outstanding! Lao Chicken 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟: I love the crispy and dry texture on the outside, and the chicken skin is incredibly tasty! It comes with chicken thighs and rice noodles as a cold dish. Drunken Noodles 🌟🌟🌟🌟: I ordered these last time and really enjoyed them. The noodles have a great chewiness. The only downside is that they get saltier as you eat more, haha! These dishes are more than enough for two people to have a full meal, with a total cost of around $110 including tax and tips. The restaurant can be quite noisy during meal times, so you'll need to speak up a bit. #RestaurantRecommendations #HiddenGemRestaurants #AmbientRestaurants #GlobalFoodieSquad #FoodRecommendations #TorontoLife #TorontoFunAndDine #TorontoFoodie #TorontoFoodExploration #TorontoEats #TorontoFoodRecommendations #TorontoFoodLovers ### Name: Lao Lao Bar Address: 5 St Joseph St, Toronto, ON M4Y 1Z3 Type: Restaurant ###
