Toronto|Foodie Tavern

I've been to this little tavern quite a few times now, and I must say, the ambiance is always spot-on. It’s perfect for photos and capturing those Instagram-worthy moments 📸. I especially love the raw beef dish! Always and forever. I heard the menu has been updated recently, so I decided to check it out. 🐮 Raw Beef A must-order every time!! The beef is fresh with no gamey taste, enhanced with a hint of sesame oil. Mixed with raw egg, it becomes even smoother and more enjoyable. The texture is slightly crispy, and the sweet pear shreds add a nice touch of complexity. Delicious and a personal favorite 😋. 🍜 Soy Milk Cold Noodles This is a seasonal dish available only in the summer. The broth is rich in soy flavor and very light. If you haven’t tried it, give it a shot! I typically prefer stronger flavors, but surprisingly, it was pretty good when paired with some side dishes. 🐷 Korean Braised Pork Trotters When this dish arrived, everyone was shocked by the massive portion! The trotters are incredibly tender and flavorful, though the accompanying sauce is a bit salty. 🌶️ Spicy Chicken Feet The chicken feet are so tender they practically fall off the bone!! They come steaming hot and spicy. The sauce is perfect for mixing with rice 🍚. Although it’s quite spicy, it’s addictively good 💥. The new dishes on the menu this season look amazing, but unfortunately, my stomach couldn't handle more 😭. The portions here are generous – four of us ordered four dishes, which was just right. #FoodDiary #RestaurantReview #FoodieAdventures #TorontoLife #TorontoDining #TorontoEats #TorontoFun #MustTryList
