Toronto has so many delicious ducks 🤤
Another treasure French restaurant added to the list! 🌟I’ve been eyeing this French spot in midtown for a while, and finally got a chance to try it out. It was quite a pleasant surprise! The quality and price of the food seem very reasonable! 🌟The restaurant is small, with cozy and comfortable seating. We started our meal while it was still light out, and by the time we got to dessert, it was dark. The experience of eating during daylight and darkness is quite different – both have their own charm. 🌟▪️Pate en Croute A combination of pork, foie gras, pistachios, and cranberries, wrapped in flaky pastry. A unique pairing and texture. 🌟▪️Duck Liver Mousse A rich duck liver mousse, with a surprising side of crispy biscuits. They break apart so easily, but they’re so good with the mousse. 🌟▪️Steak Tartare I always order this when I have French cuisine. Their raw beef was very fresh and delicious with the toasted, warm bread. 🌟▪️Whole Duck We wanted to order the short rib, but it wasn’t available at the time, so we opted for a whole duck 🦆 The price for the whole duck was quite good here – a full plate of aromatic duck breast! The breast was cooked to medium rare, and the two duck legs were fully cooked. Both the breast and legs were very flavorful – truly delicious. 🌟▪️Roasted Mushroom Mushroom lovers must try this side dish. The mushrooms were incredibly aromatic. I would have ordered another serving if I weren’t so full. 🌟▪️Cream Brulee The crème brûlée was rich and smelled wonderful. It also looked great in the light. The menu is attached at the back for reference. This is a place I’ll definitely visit again. All the dishes were excellent. I hope to try the short rib next time. #Toronto #TorontoLife #TorontoFood #TorontoEatingAndDrinking #RepeatRestaurant #TorontoFrenchCuisine #TorontoWesternCuisine #FrenchRoastDuck #TorontoDT #TorontoMidtown
