Toronto North: Gravenhurst Lakeside Restaurant with Stunning Views 🍴

These past couple of days, I’ve been escaping the heat near Gravenhurst in Muskoka—yes, that area near the star-gazing reserve 🌃! My lovely Airbnb host recommended this amazing local lakeside restaurant with incredible views. The food was delicious, the scenery was beautiful, and we even got to watch boats docking 🚢. On a scorching day, sitting by the lake with a cool breeze and a refreshing drink was pure bliss. The owner seems to be of Asian descent, and the dishes really hit the spot. We ordered a salad 🥗, grilled calamari 🦑, and pasta 🍝, all of which were fantastic. The cocktails 🍹 were great too! If you’re vacationing nearby or visiting for stargazing ✨, give this place a try. Ugh, it’s been so hot lately… My face is melting… Starter: Grilled Calamari 🦑 Grilled Calamari 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Most Western restaurants season their grilled calamari with just salt and a bit of charred flavor, making it pretty bland. But here, they use lots of seasonings, and the dipping sauce is balsamic vinegar-based. Paired with freshly grilled calamari, it’s packed with flavor and super tasty! Smoked Chicken & Glass Noodle Salad 🥗 Glass Noodle Chicken Salad Bowl 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Packed with fresh veggies 🥬 and dressed in a Korean-inspired healthy sauce, this salad was perfect for the sweltering summer. The chicken was incredibly tender, not dry at all, with a hint of smoky aroma—so good! Lately, I’ve been obsessed with all kinds of veggie dishes. Creamy Mushroom & Spinach Pasta 🍝 Fettuccine Verde 🌟🌟🌟🌟 This white sauce pasta was rich and creamy, with the umami of mushrooms melding perfectly with the fresh spinach fettuccine. Even without meat, it was deeply satisfying—great for vegetarians! For drinks, we tried the Frozen Margarita 🍹 (non-alcoholic). It was tasty but a bit too sweet, so if you’re not into sugary drinks, I’d skip it. According to reviews, their steak 🥩 and crab cakes 🦀 are also highly praised.
