Toronto | PAI – A Decade-Old Restaurant

I’ve eaten at PAI several times, and it was the first place I went to after returning to downtown. Personally, I think it’s delicious, but my husband and friends feel there are better options out there. To be honest, considering the frequent long lines and rising 📈 prices, its overall value isn’t as great as it used to be, but I still think it’s worth trying at least once! · 「Grabong」 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝✔️ Dine-in only! This is my absolute favorite! It’s like deep-fried squash fritters, super satisfying and delicious! I order it every time! If you love fried food, don’t miss it! If it’s not good, I’ll give you my head! 😆 「Garlic Tofu」 Pretty standard—fried tofu with dipping sauce. It’s hard to mess this one up. 「Gai Satay」 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝✔️ Curry-flavored chicken skewers, and the chicken is super tender, likely marinated to perfection! 「Green Curry」 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝✔️ If you want curry but prefer something lighter, go for the green curry! It’s rich, fragrant, and not too spicy. Both the chicken and beef are delicious! With rice 🍚, this dish is more than enough to fill you up, and you might even feel stuffed! 「Coconut Sorbet」 Meh, not great. The mango chunks 🥭 were frozen solid, and the coldness made it feel like the mango was punching you! It’s just coconut-flavored ice cream. I wouldn’t recommend ordering this. Per Person: $45+ CAD Recommendation Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is the kind of restaurant I’d return to and bring friends along! I recommend going on a weekday or early in the day. If you have to go after work, try arriving between 5:00 pm-5:30 pm to avoid the lines! #TorontoEats #TorontoRestaurantReview #TorontoFoodies #DailyEats #TorontoDining #GreatForGroupDinners #WeekendFunInToronto
