Toronto | Patois 🇯🇲 | The Oxtail is Seriously Delicious 🍽️

This is a fusion restaurant, and I was a bit worried it might not live up to the hype 😅, but wow, after the first bite of the oxtail, I was hooked—soooo good! The dumpling-like dough soaked in the broth was absolutely amazing too! The Jamaican-style jerk chicken was super tender, although the white meat was a bit bland. It might be better with some sauce, but my friends still loved it! It's got a little kick of spice 🌶️. We also ordered the classic fried chicken, and it was really tasty too! The skin was crispy, which I loved. But the dish that really blew me away was the Jerk Lobster Nuggets! There's probably half a lobster in there, with some potato chunks. The seasoning was spot on! The lobster pieces were shelled, crispy on the outside, and super tender on the inside—perfectly cooked 🦞✨. For dessert, we had the French toast, which was kind of like a Hong Kong-style French toast. It was really delicious, a bit sweet but not overly so, just right! I’m so happy with everything we ordered today. If you live downtown, you’ve got to try this place out! 😋 #TorontoRestaurants #HiddenGemsToronto #DailyShares #TorontoEats #TorontoDTRestaurants #UniqueSpotsToronto
