Toronto Restaurant Exploration | A Cosy Restaurant & Pub in DT - The Honest Review πŸ™οΈπŸ½οΈ

A place that looks like a pub with a focus on cocktails, perfect for drinks and great for photos. How to put it? The good dishes are really good, and the bad ones are really bad. You can search on Google and book a table directly on their website without calling. BBQ Pork Skewers 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 $14 These are my favorite. I have a sweet tooth for meat, and these skewers are generously sized. For $14, you get 5 of them, and they fill up about 1/3 of my stomach. The meat is very tender and best eaten when they're freshly served. Lao BBQ Chicken 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 $22 This one's also good, it's grilled chicken, but it's quite tender. The dipping sauce tastes a bit like chives blossoms mixed with garlic? I don't really dip it, but the chicken tastes great on its own. Drunken Noodles + shrimp 🌟🌟 $25 This dish numbed my mouth. I love pad thai, so I thought this would be a specialty here. The first bite was a letdown; it's just a burst of spice. It's hard to review, really hard. As you can see from the picture, there are lots of Sichuan peppercorns and various spices. I only had a few bites and some shrimp. The mix of those spice flavors was just odd. Maybe I just don't get this innovative way of eating. #Toronto #TorontoLife #LivingInToronto #TorontoRestaurants #TorontoEats #TorontoFoodExploration #TorontoDT ### Name: LaoLaoBar Address: 5 St Joseph St, Toronto, ON M4Y 1Z3 Type: Restaurant ###
