Toronto Thai Cuisine: Thai Basil
Signature Chicken Dish ๐๐๐๐ The chicken skin was cooked to perfectionโcrispy but not dry, and the chicken itself was slightly flavored. It's best enjoyed with the dipping sauce, which is mostly sweet with almost no spiciness. Signature Shrimp Cakes ๐๐๐๐๐ Delicious! The outer layer was fried just right, and the shrimp inside were tender. Even my son, who usually dislikes shrimp, couldn't stop eating them. The sauce is sweet and mildly spicy, suitable even for kids. The spiciness is just enough to enhance the flavor without overpowering the other tastes. Pineapple Fried Rice ๐๐๐๐ Although I generally don't like nuts in fried rice, the texture of this dish was really good. The rice was perfectly cookedโneither too soft nor too hard, and not sticky. Combined with finely shredded eggs and flaky bits of pineapple, it was quite to my taste. Eggplant Hot Pot๐๐๐๐ I won't comment on this dish because it was originally a medium-spicy dish, but I asked them to make it non-spicy. As a result, it lacked flavor. I took it home to add some spice the next day. Overall, I felt that the cooking of each dish was perfectly controlled, and the seasoning was just right for me. The value for money seemed quite good. Throughout the meal, the servers maintained a standard smile, showing eight teeth whenever they were at your table, and the dining environment was also pleasant. #TorontoEats #TorontoThaiCuisine #ThaiBasil #TorontoFood #TorontoLife
