🗾 Tottori and Okayama 4-Day, 3-Night Itinerary Share 🗾

The travel series is back! 🫡🫡 This time, we took a road trip to Tottori and Okayama. The sea in Tottori is really beautiful!! 🌊 Highly recommend a self-driving tour! 🚗 🍐 Day 1: Morning: Departed from Osaka and took about three hours on the expressway. Afternoon: Tottori 20th Century Pear Memorial Hall 📍: 198-4 Tatsuneji-cho, Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture, 682-0816 🎫: Only 150 yen for foreigners!! ⏰: 9:00 - 17:00 This is one of the most reasonably priced museums I've been to in Japan. It's quite spacious and most importantly, the admission is only 150 yen with a chance to taste three different types of pears that day. Super juicy and sweet! 😭😭 Such a great deal. (Highly recommended!!) Night: Enjoyed beef bone ramen 🐮 Gotsu Gorilla Ramen I ordered the limited 100 servings daily Gotsu Gorilla Ramen 💰: 700 yen With a student ID, it's another 150 yen off. The beef bone ramen isn't as greasy as pork bone, and the boss is really nice. We ordered fried chicken, and he said it didn't look good enough so he gave us another portion for free. 🌊🐫 Day 2: Tottori Sand Dunes 📍: 2164-66 Yunotsu, Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture, 689-0105 Japan's largest sand dunes! Half is sea and half is sand dunes. It was a bit hot to climb barefoot, so wear shoes haha. There are many activities to enjoy: sandboarding, camel riding, paragliding, etc. Tottori Sand Dunes Sand Museum 2083-17 Yunotsu, Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture, 689-0105 🎫: 600 yen ⏰: Weekdays and Sundays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Next to it, there's a delicious sand dune coffee and ice cream! ☕️ Evening: Urabu Seaside Bathing Area 2540-3 Urabu, Engocho, Iwami District, Tottori Prefecture, 681-0003 Absolutely stunning mirror-like sea, no one was there when we went, the beach was incredibly clean without a speck of trash. Visited in the evening and watched the sunset - it was breathtaking. 👓 Day 3: Aoyama Gōshō Hometown Museum 1414 Yurajuku, Kita-ei Town, Tohaku District, Tottori Prefecture, 689-2221 ⏰: AM9:30 - PM5:30 🎫: 700 yen (with a residence card or passport, another 100 yen off) Even non-fans think it's superbly done and well worth a visit. Conan's Home, Beika Shopping Street 🏠 At Conan's home, you can ring the doorbell and have a conversation haha. There are also many snack shops and souvenir stores! Shiratama Shrine, Shiratama Coast 🐰 603 Shiroto, Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture, 689-0206 Shiratama Shrine is quite small!
