Traditional English Breakfast at Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter ππ³
I've lived in Birmingham for several years and have tried English breakfasts at many places, both in the city center and on the outskirts. A lot of them are either internet - famous spots or overly fancy with inflated prices ππΈ. I found this place on Google Maps. It's ranked No. 19 among all the English breakfast joints in Birmingham ππ. The menu looks like it offers great value for money! And it's right in my favorite Jewellery Quarter ππΊ. γHylton Cafeγ π2 Hylton St, Birmingham B18 6HN Opening Hours: Mondays to Saturday 8:00 - 14:00 Closed on Sundays πͺπ Summary: As for drinks, the tea is really good π΅π. It has a strong tea flavor and a nice aroma. The coffee β is just your typical Western - style coffee... The English breakfast is amazing!!! The ingredients are all top - notch for the price. The bread is the whole - wheat, multi - seed kind, evenly spread with butter. The bacon π₯ and sausages π are super juicy and full of flavor. The black pudding is a bit fatty, but it's still better than the ones I've had before. The mushrooms π are tender and juicy; they're definitely the best mushrooms I've had this year. The hash browns are super crispy when they first arrive. The natural sweetness of the potatoes π₯ makes them delicious even without ketchup π . The smoked salmon π is also very tasty, and the bagel π₯― is well - stuffed. Overall rating: βββββ The environment is quite ordinary ππ . Most of the customers are local residents and regulars. It seems to be a family - run shop. There are only two people working there, so the food takes a while to come out. The auntie keeps chatting with the customers from time to time π¬, and there's only an uncle bustling around in the kitchen. It's a cozy, down - to - earth breakfast place with a lot of local charm. I'll definitely go back π. #StudyingAbroadInBirmingham #Birmingham #LifeInBirmingham
