Translation: Pho Long - A Vietnamese Noodle Shop in STL 🍜

Whenever my friends and I can't decide what to eat, Pho (Vietnamese noodles) is always one of our top choices! 👍 It’s perfect for a quiet meal alone or a lively gathering with friends, and it strikes a great balance between flavor and affordability. Pho Long has been around in St. Louis for a long time, with two branches: one on Olive Street and the other on Grand Avenue (south of Tower Grove), making it convenient for everyone to visit! 📍 Their signature dish has to be the "Big Bone Pho" in P1 🦴! Super tender and flavorful large beef short ribs, served with a warm broth and smooth rice noodles—each bite is incredibly satisfying, absolutely a winning combination! 😋 We also ordered a bowl of beef meatball Pho, which came with so many springy and chewy meatballs that we couldn't finish it all—the portions are truly generous! 🍡 Besides Pho, their Spring Rolls are also a hit. We really love this non-fried version: fresh rice paper wrapped around vegetables and meat, dipped in sauce, making it light and healthy. 🥒 We also tried a pancake (can’t remember the name) that looked a bit like Okonomiyaki but more like an omelet. The pancake itself was mild in flavor and needed to be paired with the accompanying vegetables and sweet-and-sour sauce. Overall, the texture and taste were quite nice, perfect for those who enjoy trying new flavors. 🍳 Oh, and they have a "Combo Pho" that’s packed with ingredients: beef, tripe, beef meatballs, oxtail, and large chunks of beef shank! 🍖 Each type of meat is well-prepared, especially the oxtail, which is relatively rare in Pho—tender and full of flavor. Highly recommend giving it a try! All in all, Pho Long is a cozy spot with generous portions of meat, flavorful broth, and great value—worth visiting again and again! ❤️ #Pho #PhoLong #STLFood #FoodRecommendation #SoloDining #GreatForGroups #AsianFlavors
