Trattoria dall’Oste
When I took that bite of steak, I truly felt that the trip was worth it. I had booked my ticket to climb the Florence Cathedral (Duomo) for 12 PM, and I had a reservation at the Uffizi Gallery for before 2:30 PM. After descending from the cathedral, I decided not to visit any other places and rushed straight to the Uffizi.💕💕💕 On my way to the Uffizi, I stumbled upon Trattoria Dall'Oste, a renowned restaurant ranked 43rd in the World's 101 Best Steak Restaurants. I checked my watch, wandered around the entrance for a bit, and then decided to go in.🥩🥩🥩 Florence is famous for its steak, especially the T-bone. However, T-bone steaks start at one kilogram, which is quite a lot. Following the waiter's suggestion, I opted for the Ribeye instead—Costata di Bistecca (Grilled ribeye steak)—and also ordered a half bottle of red wine.😍😍😍 By the way, the restaurant's menu offers a wide variety of steaks, with at least 12 different types of beef from various origins and different cuts. This is definitely not a place you can fully judge after just one visit.😻😻😻 Oh, and the complimentary bread in Italy can be quite dry on its own. It's best enjoyed with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar provided on the table. I ordered the Ribeye medium-rare. When it arrived, the aroma of the beef was incredible. The ribeye, with its marbled fat, had a distinct and rich flavor. Good beef can be eaten quickly. I didn't control my pace and soon realized that I had finished the steak but still had half a glass of wine left. The wine I had was from the Brunello di Montalcino (BDM) region. I skipped dessert and quickly paid the bill to head to the Uffizi Gallery, my treasure trove of art. #ItalianSteak #101beststeak #beststeak #dalloste #steakhouse #FlorenceSteak #FlorentineCuisine #FlorenceFood #FlorenceCathedral #AestheticsAndTaste
