Travel Diary|USA Edition|Around Salt Lake City 🗺️✨
🎈 Location: Timpanogos Cave National Monument 🎈 Distance: 45-minute drive from downtown 🎈 Tips: • Book in advance via the official website (linked on Google Maps)—tickets are limited daily! • Adult tickets: $12 • Arrive 15 minutes early to find parking 🚗 • Before entering the cave, there’s a 1.5-hour hike to the summit (fast walkers can make it in ~40 mins) • The guided tour lasts about 1–1.5 hours 🎈 Travel Notes: It’s been too long since I last wrote—this was a short trip over a month ago. Currently, it’s closed for the season, but tickets were available until mid-October. It’ll likely reopen when the weather warms up next year! 🌞🏞️ I stumbled upon this cave exploration adventure on Xiaohongshu and was instantly intrigued. It turned out to be an amazing experience—full of fun and mystery! 🕵️♀️💫 I joined the Cave Tour (there are other options, like a lantern-lit tour!). We explored three different caves and saw stunning stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and even an underground river! The connecting passages varied—sometimes narrow, sometimes low enough to require bending down. Overall, it’s a perfect short trip near Salt Lake City combining hiking and caving! 🥾🔦 #SaltLakeCity #USATravel #Adventure #CaveExploration #Hiking #NatureLovers #TravelGoals #ExploreUtah #HiddenGems
