Travel Guide Brussels Atomium

You can already feel the impact of the Atomium from a distance. A brief look into its history reveals that the Atomium was built for the 1958 Brussels World Expo, symbolizing humanity's optimistic attitude towards science and progress! Its design was inspired by an enlarged model of an iron crystal structure (magnified 165 billion times), representing the important role of science and technology in driving social development. The Atomium has its own unique observation deck. Once you reach the top, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Brussels, especially on a sunny day when the view is extremely expansive. The Atomium at night has its own unique charm, with a different visual effect as the tower lights up. Unfortunately, when we visited, the music festival had just ended, and there was still stage equipment in front of the tower, along with plastic cups and litter on the ground, which somewhat spoiled the view. We had saved it as the last stop on our itinerary, and by the time we got there, we were hot, tired, and thirsty, so we didn't get any particularly good photos. āš ļø If you go at noon in the summer, it will be extremely hot because it is an open area! Be sure to prepare for sun protection! PS: There is a mini Europa Park, and I saw many locals visiting it. šŸ“ Address: The Atomium is located north of the Brussels city center, a bit far away. You need to take the subway or a taxi to get there. It is recommended to take Line 6 of the subway to Heysel Station and then walk for about 5 minutes to arrive. ā° Operating Hours: 10:00-18:00, Monday to Sunday šŸ’¶ Admission: Adult ticket: 16€ Student and child discount: 8.50€ #MyDailyLife #Visited #Belgium #Brussels #BrusselsTravelGuide #BelgiumTravel #Atomium #TravelTips #BelgiumAtomium
